Manual gives you the ability to choose both your aperture and shutter speed, whereas Aperture Priority allows you to choose the f/stop while the camera chooses the appropriate shutter speed for the exposure. I used a Canon 650d borrow from my flatmate (my camera broke a couple of weeks after I came to New Zealand). I selected the moment to have a good light on the background made of camellia. Just before noon, I took the photo when the light started to enter in the conopy. The photo was taken in Wellington, at the botanic garden where a lot of flowers and different species of trees are present.
